VCR INSTALLATION WITH CONVERTERS

Required for homes with T.H.E. Box or Digital Terminal

With this wiring configuration:
*You can record any channel including scrambled channels.
*You cannot record one channel while watching another.
*Your timer function will be limited. You will be able to record while you are away, but you must first set the converter to the channel you wish to record.

TO RECORD:
1. Set the VCR's tuner to Channel 4. The converter will provide the program you wish to record. Setting the VCR to record a channel other than 4 will result in a snowy picture.
2. Set the converter to the channel you wish to record. Changing channels on the converter while recording will result in a recording that includes the channel changes.
3. Press the "RECORD" button. While recording, the TV and converter do not need to be turned on.

TO PLAYBACK:
1. Turn the VCR and TV on.
2. Set the TV to the VCR playback channel (3 or 4).
3. Press the "PLAY" button. Be sure the "TV/VCR" button is set to VCR. This usually happens when "PLAY" is pressed. The converter does not need to be on while playing a tape.

INSTALLATIONS

Clear Picture has a variety of installation appointment options including morning, afternoon, and Saturday availability. We will also schedule specific times and call ahead upon request. We strive to complete all standard installations (up to 125 feet from existing plant) within 7 working days, unless you request otherwise. Our installers work overtime to complete all installations on the date scheduled. If our installer is running late, we will call you. You may reschedule at that time if it is more convenient for you. If you are not at home when our installer arrives, we will leave a card. We will try to return to your home later in the day (when possible). However, if we are unable to return, please follow the instructions on the card and call the office to reschedule your installation. Payment for installation work, security deposit (if applicable), and monthly service charges must be paid in advance or at the time of installation. Positive identification may also be required.
